(GOVCON WIRE) The Defense Intelligence Agency has awarded 144 companies spots on the potential 10-year, $12.6 billion Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III contract vehicle. 

DIA’s Virginia Contracting Activity received 146 offers for the SITE III contract and expects work to occur at government and contractor facilities in the U.S. and abroad through March 1, 2031, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

SITE III includes the delivery of IT and technical support services to DIA and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. These services are grouped into several categories, including enterprise activities and services; infrastructure development/sustainment; application development and sustainment; support core functions; and cybersecurity services, according to the final solicitation released in July 2020.

Of the 144 awardees, 107 are small businesses, according to Pentagon. The full list of vendors on the SITE III program can be found in the DOD contracts digest.

The United States Marine Corps (USMC) has selected Obsidian Solutions Group, LLC as one of multiple companies competing for task orders issued under MAGTF Training Systems Support (MTSS), an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a maximum ceiling amount of $245,000,000 on March 20, 2019.

This contract will support the Training and Education Command (TECOM) at large as the implementing agency for technical, operational, and training support Marine Corps-wide. The requirements for this effort are a combination of a number of training support systems across the Marine Corps enterprise which support Marine Corps-wide staff and individual training for command and control (C2), staff decision-making, advisor training and information/simulation systems.

The contractor will provide support to the USMC MAGTF Staff Training Program Division (MSTPD) by supporting the MAGTF Staff Training Program (MSTP) which provides training in MAGTF operations across the range of military operations within the context of a Joint and/or Combined Task Force environment, to improve warfighting skills of senior commanders and their staffs; support to the Marine Corps Formal Schools at Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group (MCLOG), Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron 1 (MAWTS-1), School Of Infantry East (SOI-E), and The Basic School (TBS) which will include requirements that range from Instructional System Design to Simulations and Information Technology (IT) support; and finally support to the Battle Simulations Centers (BSC)/Combined Arms Staff Training (CAST) Facilities which span across all CONUS/OCONUS MEF locations.

Work will primarily be performed at Twentynine Palms, California; Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; Camp Pendleton, California; Quantico, Virginia; Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, AZ; Okinawa, Japan; and Marine Corps Base, Hawaii. The award timeline for this effort is expected to be from March 20, 2019 to 20 March of 2029 with separate task orders awarded for specific requirements across this timeline.

Another Win for Obsidian Solutions Group

Awarded the Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and All-Source Cyber Intelligence Analysis, to support to United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM). The Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Collector-Exploiter Specialist and All-Source Cyber Intelligence Analysts collaborate with existing USTRANSCOM staff comprised of uniformed personnel from DoD, representatives from national intelligence agencies, service intelligence agencies and national level agencies via intelligence bulletins and summary reports. OSG analysts provide research results that deliver insightful information that supports the Commander USTRANSCOM and the Intelligence Community and Enterprise. OSG Analysts will develop knowledge of USTRANSCOM J2, J3, J6 and J5/4 processes and coordinate with various parts of the command as necessary.

Obsidian Solutions Group announces the opening of a second facility in the Tampa Bay region to facilitate operations in support of our clients. While still under renovation, the Tampa office will be almost identical to the Fredericksburg office with staff providing much of the same services that is offered from the Fredericksburg facility. Obsidian Solutions Group, LLC received the award of Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Technical and Long-Range Analysis (TLA) Office. The objective of this contract is to acquire contractor support in technology warning through analytic production, open source research, indications and warning, research and development, and collection support for TLA Technology Warning Program.

Awarded the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Capability Manager Explosive Ordnance Disposal (TCM-EOD) contract in January 2018. Obsidian supports the TCM-EOD Systems Development and Integration Support Project located within Fort Lee, VA by providing Science and Technology (S and T) concepts and training across EOD and all centers and schools involved with EOD and IED-Defeat (IEDD).
