Fredericksburg, VA — Obsidian Solutions Group’s CEO and Co-Founder, Tyrone Logan, has been named Virginia’s – Richmond District ‘Person of the Year’ by the Small Business Administration (SBA).

Tyrone Logan is the CEO & Co-Founder of Obsidian Solutions Group, an 8a and Service-Disabled Small Business. He leads the company’s strategic direction positioning it for exponential outyear growth. Ty recognizes the SBA’s significant importance and appreciates and embraces the SBA’s goal to build the nation economic base through job creation. 

Ty served as a US Navy Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician. He had six combat deployments to Afghanistan with US Special Operation Teams. His leadership skills gained by service to country, is the foundation for his company’s VALUES. His commitment as a servant leader extends to the University of Mary Washington, the church, businesses, and youth in the greater community. He is a major donor and active participant in community-based organizations that provides youth a pathway to success. Obsidian’s “Giving Works” program expresses his commitment to strengthen his community.
