The United States Marine Corps (USMC) has selected Obsidian Solutions Group, LLC as one of multiple companies competing for task orders issued under MAGTF Training Systems Support (MTSS), an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a maximum ceiling amount of $245,000,000 on March 20, 2019.

This contract will support the Training and Education Command (TECOM) at large as the implementing agency for technical, operational, and training support Marine Corps-wide. The requirements for this effort are a combination of a number of training support systems across the Marine Corps enterprise which support Marine Corps-wide staff and individual training for command and control (C2), staff decision-making, advisor training and information/simulation systems.

The contractor will provide support to the USMC MAGTF Staff Training Program Division (MSTPD) by supporting the MAGTF Staff Training Program (MSTP) which provides training in MAGTF operations across the range of military operations within the context of a Joint and/or Combined Task Force environment, to improve warfighting skills of senior commanders and their staffs; support to the Marine Corps Formal Schools at Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group (MCLOG), Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron 1 (MAWTS-1), School Of Infantry East (SOI-E), and The Basic School (TBS) which will include requirements that range from Instructional System Design to Simulations and Information Technology (IT) support; and finally support to the Battle Simulations Centers (BSC)/Combined Arms Staff Training (CAST) Facilities which span across all CONUS/OCONUS MEF locations.

Work will primarily be performed at Twentynine Palms, California; Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; Camp Pendleton, California; Quantico, Virginia; Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, AZ; Okinawa, Japan; and Marine Corps Base, Hawaii. The award timeline for this effort is expected to be from March 20, 2019 to 20 March of 2029 with separate task orders awarded for specific requirements across this timeline.
