• JNAT/JSITS

JSITS (Joint Specialized Instruction & Training Support) courses are specialized training programs designed to equip operations and intelligence professionals with the skills needed to analyze, engage and target friendly, neutral and adversary networks.

These courses focus on the integration of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) to identify and disrupt enemy communications and operations, emphasizing both technical proficiency and strategic application.

Courses

Joint Network Analysis and Targeting (JNAT-LTM Course)
Joint Network Analysis & Targeting (JNAT-LTM) is; based on number of students; an 8 to 10-Day course with 2-4 Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) and is open to all students from private sector civilians, government employees, DoD and contactors. The JNAT-LTM OPT Leaders course teaches students the fundamentals of operational design and planning using the JNATTM processes and tools, applying them to the students’ existing organizational planning processes. This course teaches intelligence fusion, operations-intelligence integration and joint interoperability designed to produce a unit JNATTM OPT Leader. The course increases the time for students to develop individual training materials for each JNAT-LTM module and work with the course cadre on methods for training in Joint Concepts-Human Aspects of Military Operations (JC-HAMO), Network Engagement techniques at their units, companies or organizations. Students are evaluated for the products they produce during the course and the quality of their teach backs conducted. Classes are typically 10-14 students with the class being broken into OPTs and is characterized by hands-on scenario driven training, with product production and teach backs, to invigorate critical thinking skills, develop briefing and teaching capabilities and enhance the OPT Leaders' abilities to conduct practical application of JNATTM Processes at their companies, parent units or agencies.
  • Course Length: 8 to 10 Days
  • Minimum Participants:
    • 6 for an 8-day course
    • 7 for a 10-day course

Joint Network Analysis & Targeting, Planners (JNAT-PTM)
Joint Network Analysis & Targeting, Planners (JNAT-PTM) course is a 7-Day course that typically has 2-4 Operational Planning Teams (OPTs). The JNAT-PTM teaches students the fundamentals of operational design and planning to conduct practical application of JNATTM Processes at their companies, agencies or parent units using their existing organizational planning processes and standing operating procedures. This course teaches intelligence fusion, operations intelligence integration and joint interoperability and is designed to produce unit Planners from all of the functional areas of corporation, agency or command into an effective OPT focused on achieving the commander’s intent. The Planner’s course is focused on executing the planning process through practical application of JNATTM processes. Students will also develop individual training materials for each JNATTM module and work with the course cadre to foster methods for incorporating these training materials at their respective units. Students are evaluated for the products they produce during the course. Classes are typically 12-28 students with the class being broken into OPTs and characterized by hands-on scenario driven training, with product production that invigorates critical thinking skills, develops briefing and teaching capabilities and enhances each planners' ability. The JNAT-PTM is a 7-Day course that can be executed in 5-Days based on student availability. The 7-Day course has two additional days of training incorporating one each of a Critical Factor Analysis and Engaging Networks class.

Joint Network Development Course (JNDCTM)
The Joint Network Development Course (JNDCTM) trains and educates Department of War, Other Government Agencies, and private sector personnel to understand and apply Irregular Warfare (IW) and Unconventional Warfare (UW) fundamentals in military & civil-military operations, and Joint competitive multi-domain operating environments. Students will identify, reconnoiter, engage, and expand existing networks, as well as design & develop additional networks in support of IW and UW objectives during Joint Multi-Domain and business, geopolitical, and military operations. JNDCTM is conducted at the Unclassified and Secret levels. Upon completing the course, students will be able to apply historical lessons, current doctrine and training, and mission analysis to the reconnaissance and design of networks in support of U.S. goals and objectives. JNDCTM delivers the best results and is particularly beneficial to commands when the classes include students from multiple MOSs, Agencies, and Enterprises.
